New Wine Tasting Bar & Winery
Renovation Open House at Eola Hills Winery
(Rickreall, Oregon) It's good news at
Eola Hills Wine Cellars, one of Oregon's largest wineries. The winery has seen
steady growth, enough to warrant extensive renovations, including a new wine
tasting bar, a remodeled and expanded gift shop which opens out to a newly
landscaped patio and outdoor reception garden.
"Our tasting room traffic,
brunches, winemaker dinners, weddings, and event business has been strong, so
much so that we've felt justified in making a major investment to upgrade our
facilities," offered Eric Rogers, Eola Hill's Business Manager. The new wine
bar is a large and central structure when entering the winery, with inviting
woodwork, modern lighting and copper counters. The new gift shop features a
large selection of custom wine racks and other handcrafted items. The upgraded
outdoor reception garden features new landscaping, a waterfall, and outdoor bar
where groups from 2 to 200 can enjoy a relaxing afternoon or evening.
"We've received rave reviews from initial visitors
which is great to hear considering our investment to enhance the Eola Hills
customer experience," added Rogers
As an official celebration of these
newly completed renovations at Eola Hills, a Grand Open House will take place
during Memorial Day weekend, with barrel tasting on futures, case discounts and
outdoor barbecue.
Eola Hills Wine Cellars is on highway 99 in Rickreall,
just west of Salem. Established in 1986, Eola Hills produces approximately
100,000 gallons of wine a year, and is the sixth largest producer in the state
among approximately 250 wineries. Eola has been recognized by Wine &
Spirits Magazine as one of the top 20 producers in the nation of "wines of
great value."
