Pinot Noir | Oregon Wine 2012 Classic Pinot Noir
$17.95  00-88411

Gold Medal Winner - 2014 Newport Seafood and Wine Festival, Newport, Oregon

Featuring our new emerging label style, initially only on 2012 Oregon Pinot Noir & Pinot Gris bottles. Look for the large"P", in stores now.

Cranberries, strawberries and ripe cherries come to mind at first sip. We just bottled this delicious wine during the early part of September 2013. This is medium bodied with a hint of sweet oak on the finish. We have rolled out a new label for the new vintage. This is going to be another great hit from Oregon.

The right vines, rich soil, and proper climate are the basis for our exellence. The French call it "terroir (ter-war)". We call it OREGON!

**see my notes below.

Our Syrah is a beautiful ruby red.  The nose is warm with vanilla and dark juicy fruit with a touch of earthiness.  The flavors are of rich blackberries, currants, dried cherries and a touch of vanilla spice to round out the finish.  This wine is ready for you to drink tonight.

Pinot Noir 2011 Reserve Oregon "Wolf Hill" Clone "667" Pinot Noir
$49.95  01-99214

Our Winemaker, Steve Anderson, can truly say this wine is a fine example of hedonism: single estate vineyard(Wolf Hill), single clone(dijon clone 667), single rootstock, and single cooper (Demptos A.O. MT+ TH). A wine that quantitatively and qualitatively bursts with intensity and length, dark red fruit in the nose and palate, and an equally intense amount of balanced tannins, that provide pleasure to those who like intense, and those who simply like, quality wine. Balance is  the key that opens the door to greatness!

Pinot Gris 2013 Reserve LaCreole Pinot Gris
$21.95  110107

New vintage is now available and tasting great.
This is a delicious change from typical Pinot Gris.  Instead of just aging in stainless steel tanks we fermented and aged our Reserve Gris in Acacia barrels from South of France.  This wine starts like a Pinot Gris but finishes kind of like a Chardonnay.  The best of both worlds.  We used the most mature fruit from our “Wolf Hill” estate vineyard for this reserve wine.

Try this with Smoked Salmon or Smoked Halibut.

zinfandel_lodi_reserve_blue_cl_sg_sm_w108_h191.jpg 2011 Reserve Lodi "Old Vine" Zinfandel
$29.95  97914

Bronze Medal Winner - 2014 Newport Seafood and Wine Festival, Newport, Oregon

The vines we are using are 75 and 100 years old from Lodi, California. They tend to have fewer clusters of grapes with smaller berry size, yielding more intense sugars, color and concentration of flavors, producing wines that are generally better balanced with more body and structure. The agricultural history of the Mohr's and Fry's extends back to the 1850's, when Bruce Fry's great-great-grandfather on Jerry's mother's side, Cornelius Mohr, left his job on a whaling ship in the port of San Francisco and began a farming operation on a Spanish land grant near what later became Hayward (Alameda County).

Lodi Zinfandel 2011 Lodi "Classic" Zinfandel
$15.95  98-99641

Nice bright fruit nose with a rich chewy finish. Definitely not your typical Zinfandel at all. Most Zinfandels concentrate on the fruit, not this one - it has sweet cherry on the nose, a touch of rose petal as well, then the middle wraps you in a warmth that keeps you coming back for more.  Try this one today!
It is rotary-fermented to extract soft rich tannins, and was barrel-aged in older American Oak for one year. This rich Zinfandel makes a great companion for roasts, grilled game and turkey. Try it with smoked orange marinated duck with a chanterelles and sage.

Ripe Oregon raspberries are crushed and then inoculated. During fermentation, spirits are added to stop the fermentation much like the process of Port. Good combination of juicy fruits mingled with a touch of oak on the finish.
2012 was a stellar year for Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.  The weather was just right creating almost perfect grapes.  It was aged only a few months in Oak which lets the fruit really shine.  This is one great Chardonnay for the price.

2011 Vintage received: Wine Spectator awarded our Chardonnay:  Top Value and 89 Points "The pear and apple flavors deliver grace notes of spice oak and cashew."

cabernet_sauvignon_reserve_lacreole_sm_108x190.jpg 2011 Reserve LaCreole Cabernet Sauvignon | SOLD OUT |

SOLD OUT!! PLEASE CHECK BACK FOR MORE DETAILS AS OF: 07.06.14

Our head winemaker, Steve Anderson, chose the best barrels of wine for this delicious Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.  First he decided on Applegate and Columbia Valley as the regions for the origin of the grapes this time around.  Then he aged the wine for about 29 months in French and American Oak.  Then he blended the wine together from the best barrels.  The aroma reminds me of chocolate covered blueberries.  The flavors consist of cocoa powder, dark chocolate and blueberries.  This wine is medium bodied, medium alcohol level with nice smooth tannins to round out the finish.  Our Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon needs to be decanted so open it, wait a few hours then enjoy!   Save this for a rainy day in a few years and it will be even more delicious.
