2009 Lodi Zinfandel $15.95 98-99641 New Vintage as of July 15th, 2010
This is so good and it was just bottled. There is hardly any bottle shock - nice bright fruit nose with a rich chewy finish.
Rotary-fermented to extract soft rich tannins, this wine was barrel-aged in older American Oak for one year. This rich Zinfandel makes a great companion for roasts, grilled game and turkey. Try it with smoked orange marinated duck with a chanterelles and sage.
2007 Vintage received:
"Top 12 Zins from Lodi" as voted by the Lodi Wine Commission, 2009
