Gentle flavors of cherries, and strawberries with a light silky finish.
Very young - just bottled May 1st, 2008. We highly recommend laying this down for at least a few weeks or longer if you can wait... Because it is still very tight and closed due to some bottle shock. Steve Anderson, our Head Winemaker, says that he thinks 2007 will be one of the best vintages he has worked with as of today!
Try this Pinot Noir with Lamb, Pork , or Fish. In other words this wine will go with just about anything. One of my favorites is Spicy grilled sweet potatoes. This wine has good balance and can go with a wide variety of grilled or smoked foods such as pork or a roasted vegetable salad.

BEST OF VARIETAL AND A GOLD MEDAL WINNER! ASTORIA SEAFOOD & WINE FESTIVAL, APRIL 2008
This reveals fragrances of blueberries, cherries, pepper, and earth. In the mouth, it’s a silky, expansive, full-bodied, savory wine with beautifully integrated acidity, wood, alcohol, and tannin. Soft tannins add to the luscious texture of this delightful wine. These compact berries produce wines that explode on impact in the mouth, with layers of blackberries, cassis and liquorice.

Fresh Bartlett Pears come to mind when you first inhale the delicious aroma. At first taste, it is light, refreshing, and a little fruity with a light finish. A little spritz on the finish. Delicious with wild sockeye salmon. This Pinot Gris was made exclusively from grapes grown in the Willamette Valley. Aged only in stainless steel to allow the fruit flavors to come forward. Similar in style to the Pinot Grigio’s from Italy.

WINE ENTHUSIAST NOVEMBER 2007
The tropical fruits and pear flavors of this Chardonnay coupled with a subtle crisp finish make this a surprisingly diverse wine. Enjoy this Chardonnay with grilled or lightly smoked fish or poultry.
Wine Enthusiast Magazine November 2007 had this to say: This is graceful and surprisingly dense, with a mix of tropical fruit flavors and a mid-palate thickness tasting a bit like ripe bananas. In this price range it's a pleasure to find a Chardonnay with some meat on its bones, and if there was some oak chip treatment (not sure that there was) it's been done with restraint.
Dijon clone 152 planted on our estate, Wolf Hill Vineyard, meticulously cared for by our vineyard manager Jim Huggins, is the first to mature, and has the richest flavor of all the Pinot Gris we produce. Barrel fermented and aged for just a few months to flesh out the softer side of Pinot Gris. Rich, deep, and serious are the words Steve Anderson, Our Winemaker, uses to describe this wine.
