This full-bodied Rhone varietal is a culinary treat all by itself, but if you must, try it with beef tenderloin accompanied with caramelized onions or grilled portobello mushrooms. Also, try it with a slice of Iberian air cured ham on toasted bread dipped in olive oil, or a homemade hamburger with all the trimmings and slathered with steak sauce.
