Fermentation is arrested with the addition of Eau du Vie (Unaged Brandy): Thus the higher than normal alcohol content. Barrel aged four years to round out and integrate all the wonderful complex nuances and "Voila", there you have it, a superb LBV Port made from Cabernet Sauvignon.
